How to Allow Non-Premium (Cracked) Players

"Offline Mode" allows players who do not have a premium Minecraft Java Edition account to connect to your server. Follow the steps below to enable this setting on your server.

Step 1: Access the Server Configuration File

  1. Log in to the control panel: https://panel.xerohost.net.
  2. Select the server you want to configure.
  3. In the left-hand menu, go to the "Properties" section.

Step 2: Change the Required Settings

Within the Properties section, make the following changes:

  1. Find the checkbox that says:

    online-mode
  2. Find the checkbox:

    enforce-secure-profile

Step 3: Save and Restart the Server

  1. Save the changes made.
  2. Restart your server to apply the new configuration.

Important Notes about Offline Mode

  • Security:

    • When the server is in Offline Mode, the authenticity of accounts that connect is not verified.
    • Install an authentication plugin like nLogin or AuthMe ReLoaded to protect player accounts.
  • Recommended Plugins:

    • nLogin (Recommended): Requires players to register and authenticate when joining the server.
    • AuthMe ReLoaded: Requires players to register and authenticate when joining the server.
  • Common Issues:

    • If players cannot join, make sure both options (online-mode and enforce-secure-profile) are set to false.
    • Verify that the server has been restarted after making the changes.

Advantages of Offline Mode

  1. Allows more players, including those without premium accounts, to join your server.
  2. You will expand your community by not limiting entry to premium account players only.

That's it! Your server is now configured for Offline Mode. Remember to install the necessary plugins to keep your server secure and functional!
